Move Better Not Stronger: Terms of Sale, Health Disclaimer and Release

Effective: September 27, 2026 · Seller: Gunnar Autterson, doing business as DeadPoint Performance · Contact: gunnar@deadpointperformance.com

These terms cover your purchase of Move Better Not Stronger ("MBNS", "the program") from Gunnar Autterson, doing business as DeadPoint Performance ("DeadPoint", "we", "us"). By ticking the box at checkout you agree to them, including the release of liability below. Read them before you pay.

Who MBNS is for

MBNS is for climbers 13 and older. If the person training (the "participant") is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase, accept these terms on the participant's behalf, and supervise their training.

By ticking the box at checkout you confirm that you are at least 18 and that you are either the participant, or the participant's parent or legal guardian accepting these terms for them. Wherever these terms say "you", they mean the participant, and the parent or guardian who accepted on their behalf.

Health and safety

Check your health first. Before you start, answer these honestly. If the answer to any of them is yes, or you are not sure, get clearance from a doctor before you train:

  1. Has a doctor ever told you that you have a heart condition, or that you should only do physical activity a doctor recommends?
  2. Do you get chest pain during physical activity, or have you had chest pain at rest in the past month?
  3. Do you ever lose your balance because of dizziness, or lose consciousness?
  4. Do you have a bone, joint, tendon or other soft-tissue problem (for example a finger pulley, elbow or shoulder injury) that training could make worse?
  5. Are you taking medication for blood pressure or a heart condition?
  6. Are you pregnant or recently postpartum?
  7. Do you know of any other reason you should not do strenuous physical activity?

If your health changes during the program, stop and check again.

This is general training guidance, not medical advice. MBNS is a prewritten program. It was not designed for you individually, nobody assesses or supervises you, and it is not a substitute for assessment or treatment by a physician, physiotherapist or other qualified professional. Nothing in it diagnoses, treats or prevents any condition.

Train sensibly. Warm up. Use technique you can control. Scale or skip anything that does not suit your body on the day. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or anything else that seems wrong, and get medical attention.

Risks, and release of liability

Please read this section carefully. It gives up legal rights.

Climbing, hangboarding and strength training carry real and inherent risks. They include finger pulley and tendon injuries, joint, muscle and ligament injuries, injuries from falls or from equipment, and, rarely, serious injury or death. Some of these risks cannot be removed without changing the nature of the training.

Assumption of risk. You take part voluntarily. You understand these risks and you accept them, including risks that are not listed here. You are responsible for judging whether a session, movement, load or training environment is right for you on the day.

Release. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release, waive and give up any claim against DeadPoint Performance, Gunnar Autterson and Limit LLC (the company that provides the Limit app), and their owners, employees and contractors (the "released parties"), for any injury, loss or damage arising out of or related to your participation in the program, including claims based on the released parties' own negligence. This release does not cover gross negligence or intentional misconduct, and it does not apply where the law does not allow it.

If you accept for a minor, you give this release on the participant's behalf as well as your own, to the extent the law allows (in Colorado, under C.R.S. § 13-22-107).

What you are buying

The program. A 12-week climbing program, delivered through the Limit app, with training you log and progress you can follow in the app. Access starts when you buy and does not expire.

The start date. MBNS runs as a group. Everyone starts on the same day: Monday, October 5, 2026 for the first group. If you buy after that day, you join the program in progress.

How you get it. After you pay you will receive an email with links to download the Limit app. Open the app and sign in with the email address you paid with. Your program will be waiting there.

What is included. The program itself, and announcements from your coach in the app. It does not include one-to-one messaging with the coach or individual coaching.

One person. Your purchase is for one participant. Please do not share, resell or redistribute the program or its contents.

Refunds: the do-the-work guarantee

MBNS comes with a guarantee for people who do the work. You can get a full refund if both of these are true:

Ask for it by email to gunnar@deadpointperformance.com within 14 days after the program's last scheduled day. We check eligibility from your training log in the app, and approved refunds go back to your original payment method.

Refunds are not available if you did not use the program, used less of it than the thresholds above, or changed your mind. After a refund, your access to the program ends, and your MBNS program and its training data are deleted. If you dispute the charge with your bank instead of asking us, your access ends while the dispute is open; we keep your training records until it is resolved, because they are part of our response, and then delete them.

This guarantee does not limit any rights you have under the consumer protection law where you live.

Privacy

Your training data is stored in the Limit app and handled under Limit's Privacy Policy (limit.coach/privacy) and, for residents of Washington, Nevada and Connecticut, its Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy (limit.coach/health-data).

The legal part

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.

Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest of the terms remain in effect.

Changes. These terms apply as published on the day you bought. If we publish a new version, the version you agreed to still governs your purchase.

Whole agreement. These terms, together with Limit's Terms of Service for your use of the app, are the whole agreement between you and us about the program.
